Playwrights Samuel Adamson, Moira Buffini, David Hare, Charlotte Jones, Frank McGuinness and Roy Williams wrote the Almeida’s first Chain Play which was performed at the Almeida Theatre as part of a benefit event to help support the theatre's bold and ambitious artistic programme.

Chain Play was directed by Tom Cairns and the cast included: Jodie Whittaker, DannySapani, JennyJules, MicheleAustin, Alastair Mackenzie and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett.

The performance was followed by an exclusive post-show party with cocktails, food and dancing into the night.
