The Almeida Theatre and Almeida Café and Bar are available for private hire, although hiring opportunities are limited due to our own busy day-to-day performance requirements.

The beautifully refurbished theatre and café and bar areas provide an inspiring backdrop to any event or special occasion. 

The theatre and auditorium comprise one performance space: a beautiful restored Grade II listed theatre seating 321, and a flexible, contemporary bar and café with a large communal foyer space.

All our hires come with full and comprehensive technical support and services.

The Almeida is only a 10 minute walk from Angel and Highbury & Islington underground stations, which are served by the Northern and Victoria Lines. There is a nearby car park adjacent to the Business Design Centre and Hilton Hotel, and we are located near the numerous high quality restaurants and  bars on Upper Street and located only 10 minutes from the City of London.
