For one night only on Sunday 8 February 2009 the Almeida Theatre was transformed into a cabaret space. Imelda Staunton was joined on stage by some truly special guests: Jim Broadbent, Henry Goodman, Nigel Lindsay, David Morrissey, Bill Paterson and Clive Rowe, for a spectacular evening of music, dancing and comedy.

Guests were treated to a pre-show reception before taking their seats in the Almeida Theatre for the Cabaret performance. Following the show there was a short auction of unique theatrical experiences led by Jim Carter, and then a post show party throughout the theatre’s contemporary setting with dinner, drinks and live entertainment.

We are delighted that our Cabaret Gala raised over £100,000 for the Almeida Theatre and our education programme, so thank you to all those who supported and attended the evening.
