Young Friends of the Almeida

What is Young Friends of the Almeida?

Young Friends of the Almeida, or YFA as we call it, is a membership programme for young people aged 15-21 (or 25 if in full time education).

The YFA scheme offers workshops, projects and work placements made specially for you. All of our activities are led by experts from the Almeida’s position as a producing theatre.

It’s a great place for you to socialise with like-minded young people, work with industry professionals and develop your skills and knowledge of theatre.

For just £5 per year, you can take part is as many of the projects below as you want. It is FREE to register as a new member and join the mailing list. You don’t pay until you book your first activity!

"It was the best experience of my life."
