Rachel Chavkin
Director
Rachel Chavkin is an Obie Award-winning director, educator, and the founding Artistic Director of the TEAM. With the TEAM Rachel has directed/co-authored Mission Drift, a new musical, (Winner 2011 Edinburgh International Festival Fringe Prize, Scotsman Fringe First, Herald Angel, Best of 2011 The Guardian), Architecting (co-produced by the National Theatre of Scotland, Winner 2008 Scotsman Fringe First, Top Ten 2009 Portugal's Publico), Particularly in the Heartland (Top Ten 2007, Time Out New York, Winner 2006 Scotsman Fringe First). Rachel is a NYTW Usual Suspect, an Artistic Associate at Classic Stage Company, an alum of Soho Rep's Writer/Director Lab, the Drama League Directors Project, the Women’s Project Director’s Lab, and a New Georges Affiliate Artist. She teaches directing & performance at Playwrights Horizons Theater School within NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. B.F.A. NYU, M.F.A. Columbia.
Theatre includes: Three Pianos (A.R.T., NYTW); Ontological Incubator Series; Acquainted with the Night and Wonder (NYU Grad Acting); the Agee/Evans Project (working title) created with playwright Molly Rice and composer Stephanie Johnstone (Pace University Workshop and Montclair State University residency); Canary, a bluegrass musical by Molly Rice with music by Molly Rice and Ray Rizzo (Rattlestick DirtyWorks June, 2008); collaborations with playwright/performer/activist Taylor Mac including his extravaganza The Lily’s Revenge (Act II) (HERE Arts Center, 2010 Obie Award) and Peace, co-written by Mac and Chavkin (Workshop, HERE Arts Center, 2007). She has also directed All the Great Books (Abridged) by the Reduced Shakespeare Company(Hangar Theatre), Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya (Classic Stage Company), and the NYC revival of Kurt Vonnegut’s Happy Birthday, Wanda June.
Matthew Hubbs
Sound
Matthew has designed for Mission Drift, Architecting, Particularly in the Heartland, and a Thousand Natural Shocks with the TEAM. He has also recently worked on How We Got On, Death Tax, and Devil at Noon for the Humana Festival of New American Plays. He has also toured with SITI Company and the Rachel’s band. He received his BA in Philosophy as a University Scholar at Xavier University.

Jake Margolin
Assistant Director/Choreographer
As a member of The TEAM Jake has created and performed in four plays which have toured throughout North America, the UK and Europe: Mission Drift, Architecting, Particularly In The Heartland, and Howl. Jake creates installation art with his husband Nick Vaughan. Nick and Jake presented Preparations for a Marriage in Pittsburgh in 2007, created the environment for Pavel Zustiak's S(even), created an installation for Yoshiko Chuma’s Shredded (NYC 2011), and are developing A Marriage: 1 (SUBURBIA) as HARP artists at the HERE Arts Center, NYC.
Dave Polato
Production Stage Manager
Dave is the Production Stage Manager and a company member for the TEAM. He has toured and developed Particularly in the Heartland, Architecting and Mission Drift. He trained on the University of Rochester International Theatre Program.
