My City Post Show Panel Discussion
In association with the Royal College of Psychiatrists

Stephen Poliakoff’s first new theatre play for twelve years, My City examines the profound effect that an inspirational teacher can have on their pupils, and celebrates the power of storytelling. Following the performance on Thursday 29 September join us to delve into the themes behind the play for the fifth discussion in our Media Representations of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Series.

The following panellists are currently confirmed:

Trudy Klauber (chair)
Dean of Postgraduate Studies at Tavistock & Portman NHS Foundation Trust. Trudy is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist.

Stephen Poliakoff
Award-winning playwright, director and screenwriter.
Stephen has written and directs My City for the Almeida Theatre.

Biddy Youell
Head of the Child Psychotherapy at Tavistock & Portman NHS Foundation Trust. Biddy is a former teacher in mainstream and specialist schools.
