Wed 8 July - Sat 1 August
Devised and created by Lu Kemp and Paddy Molloy.
Lost Property is a public project. We invite you to create a poster for something that you have lost during your life.
It can be anything. A jumper. A pigeon. Dentures. Your heart.
Posters will be displayed in an installation in the Almeida Theatre Foyer throughout the festival.
How to... make a lost poster
1) Think of something you've lost during your life.
2) Make a poster in the hope you will find it again.
3) Send your poster to the Almeida Theatre*. Or email it to lost@almeida.co.uk
4) Hope that somebody finds it.
5) And gets it back to you.
If you would like to participate in the project and would like some inspiration you can view our online poster gallery to get some ideas.
* THE SMALL PRINT:
To send us your poster either post it to us at Lost Property, Almeida Theatre, Almeida Street, London, N1 1TA or email it to us at lost@almeida.co.uk (please use one of the following formats: JPEG or GIF). Your poster can be made in any way you like (hand-draw it, photo-shop it, cut it and paste it… use many words, or hardly any at all … make it about something real, or something imagined…) Once your entry is received it will be displayed in the Lost Property installation in the Almeida Theatre Foyer throughout the Summer Festival and also in our online gallery.
