This semi-staged concert is a first chance for UK audiences to hear the operatic work of this celebrated opera composer.

Detlev Glanert's opera Jest, Satire, Irony and Deeper Meaning has received multiple productions worldwide. His production of Caligula, was acclaimed as "utterly compelling" (Financial Times) at its premiere in Frankfurt earlier this year.
