Nicola Sanderson was born in Dorset and now lives in Holloway. She has worked as a performer on stage, on television and on the radio for the last fifteen years but only started writing plays after picking up a WRITE. leaflet.

An oil pipeline is being constructed in Northern Nigeria, by an international company. Two western journalists, Laurence and Dave, compete to get to the gang of rebels rumoured to be planning an attack on the pipeline. A local “Fixer” finds his life in danger when he’s forced to set up the meeting. Laurence and Dave get their exclusive but at what cost to their consciences?
Lydia Adetunji was born in Stockport and lived in Nigeria for ten years. She took up writing while working as a journalist when she discovered it is “sometimes fun to make things up for a change.” She has just finished the first year of a part time Creative Writing MA at City University. Fixer was a new idea for a play inspired by the challenge of WRITE.

Kate Davidson was born in Dundee and studied Drama and Theatre Studies at Trinity College, Dublin. She ran a charity working with asylum seekers and refugees in Scotland before coming to London to study for an MA in Creative Writing at City University. She lives in Kentish Town and works as a Project Manager at The School of Coaching in Central London.
