Sick! at School

Following the success of SICK!, our new production for Islington eleven year olds in November 2005, we reassembled the cast and creative team and took the production out onto the road – touring to three schools in Islington.

Sick! at School touched down at Islington Arts and Media School, where we performed to 200 Year Eight students, and Highbury Fields School, where the whole of Year Seven finally got their chance to find out about Argon’s mysterious diseases and his doctor’s even stranger cures.

Finally, we stopped for an extended stay at Highbury Grove School, where we worked with students in Music, Art and Drama classes – as well as a group of student participants who joined us after school.  The result: an enhanced, extended, redesigned version of the play complete with a musical overture inspired by the different characters in the play. 

This was performed for Year 6 students from Highbury Grove’s feeder schools, giving them a unique and exciting opportunity to visit Highbury Grove before joining the school a few months later.
