The Duchess of Malfi Learning Resources

Production Recording For Schools

We are offering schools free access to a recording of our 2019 production of The Duchess of Malfi. John Webster’s electrifying revenge tragedy is given a “revelatory rewiring” (Time Out) in Rebecca Frecknall’s production about rage, resistance and a deadly lust for power.

Please note this production is recommended for ages 14+, and includes violent scenes, a firearm, sudden loud noises and flashing lights. Filmed in front of a live audience during its run at the Almeida from 30 November 2019 – 25 January 2020, it was filmed and produced by Robin Fisher.

The film is available on request. Please complete our form to request the recordings, and our Participation team will contact you shortly.
