Join members of the cast and creative team of “Daddy” A Melodrama as they discuss their approaches to this production and their artistic processes. The panel will include Jeremy O. Harris, Mumba Dodwell and Terique Jarrett.
Jeremy is a Tony-nominated writer, performer, and producer from Virginia, whose play Slave Play received a record 12 nominations at the 74th Tony Awards. He is the writer of “Daddy”.
Mumba is a London-based actor, director and facilitator. Her work centres around changing perceptions on who we can see in theatre and bringing stories to light that are traditionally untold. She is Assistant Director for “Daddy”.
Terique is an actor who graduated from a three-year Musical Theatre course in 2017. The vigorous training prepared him for his debut role in Motown the Musical. Since then, he has starred in other stage productions such as National Theatre’s The Winter’s Tale, Regent Park’s Our Town, RSC’s The Mirror and the Light; as well as Hulu’s Find Me in Paris. He plays Franklin in “Daddy”.
