This free event is exclusively for those aged 25 and under as part of Almeida For Free.
This movement workshop led by Mateus Daniel will be an exploration of release and freedom within movement and music. A playful free flow session influenced by guided improvisation and character work, it will explore how we approach devising movement and what inspires us to move.
Mateus is a performer, choreographer and aerial hoop artist who graduated in Physical Theatre at East 15 Acting School in 2019. He has built a love and curiosity for telling stories physically that express themes of culture, race, change and transitions.
Participants will be asked to bring water and clothes you can move around in for the masterclass.
Please note that this masterclass will take place at Tall Stories Studio 68 Holloway Road N7 8JL.
