Movement Masterclass with Nicola Chambers

This free masterclass is exclusively for those aged 25 and under as part of Almeida For Free.

Nicola Chambers leads a movement masterclass which will explore how to develop ideas, embody emotion and tell stories through physical theatre. Using techniques inspired by a range of practitioners, from Pina Bausch to Frantic Assembly, this masterclass will help develop your confidence as a physical performer.

Nicola is a theatre and Movement Director who specialises in working with young people and giving voice to their experience. She completed an MA with Frantic Assembly in 2018. Recent projects include UnMute All for the Almeida, Blood Wedding for GB Met and Dear Caveman for Lock The Doors.

Participants will be asked to wear clothes you feel comfortable moving in. No movement or dance experience is required. All confidence levels encouraged.
