The Wave

As director, productions include: Tobacco Road (Edinburgh Fringe/Vault Festival/ArtisTree Festival Hong Kong); Alice in the Cuckoo's Nest (Librarian Theatre/UK tour); Zero for the Young Dudes! (Orange Tree Theatre/National Theatre); What We Leave Behind (Roundhouse); Thisbe (Door Ajar/UK tour); All Quiet on the Western Front (Pleasance, SoHo Playhouse NYC).

Roberta has assisted at the RSC and is an associate artist of Incognito Theatre and National Youth Theatre

Amelia trained at RADA and was resident assistant designer at the RSC 2014-15.

Current design credits include: One Under (Graeae) and costume design for Sing Yer Heart out for the Lads (Chichester Festival Theatre).

Recent design credits include: Blue/Orange (Birmingham Rep); Good Dog (UK Tour); The Comedy of Errors (RSC); The Fishermen (HOME, Arcola, Trafalgar Studios + UK TOUR), Mountains (Royal Exchange Theatre); Smack That (a conversation) (Barbican); Gastronomic (Theatre Royal Norwich + Shoreditch Town Hall).

Valerie is a theatre maker, who has produced, written and directed her own work at various London Fringe venues. In January 2016 she founded her own producing company ‘She’s Diverse’ which is dedicated to high quality female- centric work.

Her time at The Almeida has afforded her the opportunity to be the assistant director on two Reimagining projects, both Cacophony and Three Sisters and most recently being the assistant director on both Young Company Almeida shows; (This isn’t) A True Story and The Wave.
